Rita was great at keeping my room clean. I got a towel animal every day and that just really brighten my day after coming back from a hard day work inthe mission field. The staff was helpful and accommodating with my AC wasn’t working right and they got me another room then that one wasn’t worth right so they got me another room then they were able to retrieve my belongings that I had left for the first room. They were very professional and very kind.

This is our 8th year at Holiday Inn Ixtapa. Wonderful staff make us come back each year! Staff at a the bar, room service, entertainment staff, check in and in restaurant staff. 5 STAR! ⭐️

Great location. There are stores across the street if you need anything. We had an ocean view room and the beds are nice as well as the pillows. Maid service is awesome and I like how they clean the rooms early. Beach is perfect. Warm water and very clean. The food is good and fresh. Also the staff are so nice and friendly. We will definitely be back. 😎

Holiday Inn resort, Ixtapa is always our families go to spot whenever we visit the beach. From the staff, food and the ambience Everything is perfect! We will be back next year for sure! Also wanted to give a special things to our camarista, Georgina for our cute little turtle towel. El Holiday Inn Resort de Ixtapa es siempre el lugar al que acudimos en familia cuando vamos a la playa. Desde el personal, la comida y el ambiente, ¡todo es perfecto! ¡Seguro que volveremos el año que viene! We travel to Mexico annually. This was our first trip to Ixtapa. The Holiday Inn was rated #2 in Ixtapa so we decided to give it a try. We had read the reviews so were prepared for possible issues. It was definitely a lower standard for an all inclusive than we typically travel to in other resort areas of Mexico. With that context we enjoyed our trip! The resort was not up to the cleanliness standards we are used to in Canada, but it wasn’t dirty either. The food and drink selection was basic in quality and taste. There was always something available that everyone in our group would eat. We got a very good rate to travel here so we expected lower quality. The Staff were very nice and friendly, we speak limited Spanish and the Staff spoke very little English, but we could usually understand each other. There were very few Foreigners at the hotel, there were lots of multi-generational Mexican families. The resort was close to capacity over the holidays, but we rarely dealt with lines the other patrons were polite. The beach was nice and ocean was warm. The pools were the perfect temperature. The weather was warm and the humidity was high. The shows and Mexican nights were enjoyable and typical of AI resorts. Ixtapa was a beautiful place to visit.

If you want a resort that has it all, book yourself into Holiday Inn, Ixtapa. We had an amazing 10 day stay January 15-25, 2025. Pictures do no justice in capturing the true beauty of the amazing sunsets you will see! 😍 Not only is it a great location on El Palmar beach, the service and food were absolutely outstanding. So many staff went above and beyond to make us feel so incredibly valued during our stay. Each morning room service added a little extra love to our room. Alfredo was so talented in their beautiful towel creations. Cleofus at the towel station was a true gem with upbeat conversation and stories. From our moment of arrival, Carlos H and Aldolfo served drinks with a smile. Engaging in conversation and always remembering what we liked, they also gave excellent recommendations of new things to try both at the pool and on the beach. Bartenders Ernesto and Humberto also kept our cups full having our next drink ready to go when ours was getting low. Attention to detail is clearly very important to their service style! Captains Ignacio and Francisco and their outstanding staff of servers, Rebecca, Lourdes, Carlos, Donaciano, Salvador and many others, delivered amazing personalised service each and every day. Chef Miguel and his team created delightful dishes for every meal. We had intended on venturing out for a handful of places to try, but the options at our resort won us over with every single bite. The sunset view from the Sports bar was breathtakingly beautiful and Marilu was always an entertaining delight as we watched the sun set each evening. We did not experience any wait times for any service. The included photo shoot was an awesome surprise included in our stay. Adrian our photographer captured our sunset proposal beautifully. Alberico, the GM, does a phenomenal job at creating the perfect all inclusive get away. His team from the top down was outstanding, going above and beyond in every single interaction we experienced. Our entire trip felt absolutely magical thanks to the wonderful staff. We can not wait to go back, this time bringing our family and friends to experience a dream vacation.

On Wednesday and Thursday we were attended by the waiter Jesus Magaña Mercado in the beach area with excellent Service and on Friday was another person who left much to be desired in the Service and we decided to move to the splash area where we met the waiter Jesus again and he attended us perfectly.
